We have worked in conjunction with a leading British fly line manufacturer to produce Wildfisher Fly Lines.

Every line in our fly line range is made using the highest quality materials and most up to date processes and are in fact the highest grade of fly line this manufacturer produces.

River Don Floating Fly LineThe tapers and profiles of our flylines, both WF and DT (Weight Forward and Double Taper), have been carefully selected, checked with precision instruments and tested to ensure the lines will be suitable for most real fishing situations and casting styles. They are very supple with zero memory and are a delight to cast.

They are, first and foremost, fishing lines, designed and tested by experienced fly fishers for all fly fishers and especially suited to wild fishing.

Every flyline is capable of accurate and delicate casts at normal fishing distances and will shoot exceptionally well when extra distance is required.

The very light grey (almost white) colour of our  Highland White range provides the angler with a more visible line while still subtly reducing line flash. These lines were designed primarily with the wild loch fisher in mind, but are equally suitable for any still water, river or low light situation where the angler wishes to monitor even the slightest movement of the line or leader.

The subtle heron grey of our River Don range of floating lines has been chosen to provide the best combination of visibility to the angler and lack of fish-spooking line flash when casting, especially important when in pursuit of wary wild trout, be it on a New Zealand spring creek, a crystal clear limestone loch or just down on your local river.

The natural sage green colour iWild Stealth Intermediate range of lines has been chosen to minimize line flash while casting and to blend in with bank-side and aquatic vegetation,   providing  the best combination natural colour and finish. Fish these lines with confidence.

These lines were designed with the wild trout fisher in mind but of course are equally suitable for use on stocked waters. If they catch wily wild trout they’ll catch anything!

We do not waste your money on annoying, unnecessary and environmentally damaging packaging such as boxes and plastic spools that end up in land fills or on the back of the fire. By saving on this  packaging, we are able to keep the price of our fly lines low,  pass the saving on to you and reduce your impact on the environment.

Huge Scottish Trout Caught On A Wildfisher Fly Line
On 22nd September 2011,  while attending the annual and exclusive Wild Fishing Forum members’ outing at the Crask Inn Sutherland, Andy MacArthur had a red letter day landing  two magnificent wild brown trout on a remote hill loch. The smaller fish was 4lb and the biggest, the wonderful fish pictured below, was touching 10lb. Both fish were safely returned. Wildfisher  stealth fly lines are not only fantastic value for money, in the right hands they help catch fantastic fish!

I recently  received an  email about Wildfisher Fly lines  from Peter Carty,  top  New Zealand guide and have his permission to publish it.

I used the 4 & 5 weight lines as much as I could towards the end of the season and was impressed with them. They are true to label as far as line weight goes. Float well and I used the 5 a couple of times for customers and they couldn't destroy it, so they must be durable too.

Great value for money.

Pete

Fly Lines That Catch Fish!

Wildfisher Fly Lines proprietor  Fred Carrie had a red letter day on a river earlier this year catching 8 wild brown trout in under 8 hours:  1lb, 2lb, 3lb, 3.5lb, 4lb, 4lb, 5lb and 6lb,  all on dry flies using a Wildfisher River Don Heron Grey WF5 line.

Wildfisher Fly Lines are designed in Scotland and tested by experienced anglers on waters including the Aberdeenshire Don in Scotland, the fabulous, world famous Mataura River in New Zealand and many other crystal clear spring creeks and rivers. The slide show above shows some of these wonderful locations and a few of the fabulous wild trout caught using Wildfisher Fly Lines.
