For people who love fishing. Wild Fishing Scotland. Established 2003

We worked in conjunction with the leading independent British fly line manufacturer to produce Wildfisher Fly Lines.

Every line in our fly line range is made using the highest quality materials and most up to date processes and are in fact the highest grade of fly line this manufacturer produces. The tapers and profiles of our fly lines have been carefully selected, checked with precision instruments and tested to ensure the lines will be suitable for most real fishing situations and casting styles. They are very supple with zero memory and are a delight to cast.

They are, first and foremost, fishing lines, designed and tested by experienced fly fishers for all fly fishers and especially suited to wild fishing.
Here, on this site, you won't find unfathomable technical detail, claims of fly casting championships or anything like that; just great fishing linesat a great price. Please take a look at the site gallery to see some of the fine wild fish that have been caught using Wildfisher Fly Lines.

Every flyline is capable of accurate and delicate casts at normal fishing distances and will shoot exceptionally well when extra distance is required.

Wildfisher Fly Lines are designed in Scotland, manufactured in the UK and have been tested and proven by experienced fly fishers and guides worldwide. They are proven fish catchers on hundreds of wild waters including the Aberdeenshire Don, The River Deveron, The River Tweed, The River Clyde, the fabulous, world famous Mataura, Oreti, Waiau, Maruia and Grey Rivers in New Zealand and many other crystal clear spring creeks, rivers, lochs and lakes.

Wildfisher Fly Lines is a privately owned business run by Fred Carrie who was born and raised in Scotland and who has been a dedicated fly fisher, mountaineer and hill man for over 40 years. Fred has also runs the Wildfisher Web Site and the very popular Wild Fishing Forum. Wildfisher Fly Lines have been designed and built on a solid foundation of experience.

Wildfisher Fly Lines are great value starting at £16.00 each inc. UK post and packing. or £19.00  each inc. international post and packing.

Don't be mislead by the price, these are not budget fly lines, they are the same grade of fly line others are charging three times as much for. We keep costs down and pass on the savings to you. For example we do not waste
your money on expensive marketing or annoying, unnecessary and environmentally damaging packaging such as boxes and plastic spools that end up in land fills. By saving on this packaging, we are able to keep the price of our fly lines low and reduce your impact on the environment. We do not charge V.A.T. which saves customers a further 20%

A Great Tip!

The Ferris Nymphing Indicator Tool!

Some years ago fly fisherman Rudi Ferris came up with an ingenious idea for quickly attaching a yarn strike indicator to a leader to assist with take detection whilst nymph fishing. This can be fiddly and is best and easiest done with a dedicated, simple  tool.

We don't sell these, tools but to find out how to make your own for a few pennies and what you will need to make it click here

Fly Lines That Catch Fish!

Red Letter Day
Wildfisher Fly Lines proprietor  Fred Carrie had a red letter day on a river catching 8 wild brown trout in under 8 hours:  1lb, 2lb, 3lb, 3.5lb, 4lb, 4lb, 5lb and 6lb,  all on dry flies using a Wildfisher River Don Heron Grey WF5 line.

The Stream Stealth Proves To Be An Exceptionally Versatile Line
The Wildfisher Stream Stealth fly line proved to be exceptionally versatile over season 2014. On river, lake or loch these lines were used extensively and accounted for many hundreds of wild brown trout, sea trout and even a few salmon!

Although originally intended for river use, the slick line coating and head design have proven to be just what is needed in situations where there are high banks behind or any back cast limitation.

Anglers are finding these lines to a better job than big name brands that cost three times as much.
